This may not be a bug, it may be that the fields are pulling from somewhere we do not typically update
USM emailed us to say inaccurate people were receiving the new automated "course published" emails. Initially I thought it was instructors, but they are not the instructors listed on the course, nor is it the staff from the run.

What is the logic the system uses to control who receives these new emails? And how can we correct the recipients? One of the people on the list does not work at USM anymore.
