Teams Overview
Description
Part of the documentation for Teams dissuaded a partner from trying to use Teams. Could we update the language in the overview to be less prescriptive?
“-Teams are not as effective when members have no specific team tasks or goals. EdX does not recommend using teams in your course if you want only to provide a way for learners to connect socially. You can encourage learners to connect socially by using discussions within the course.- For more information about using discussions, see Running Course Discussions.”
Following the 3rd paragraph, we could simply state: "For more information about using discussions, see Running Course Discussions."
Thanks! Ben
