Remove OAuth2 SSO from Direct Integration Guide

Description

Hi there,

We've recently run into an issue where a customer understood from our direct integration guide that OAuth2 is a currently supported mechanism for SSO authentication. I understand that we do support OAuth2 IdPs such as Google and Microsoft, but that these mechanisms do not link learners to enterprise customer profile.

For now, we think it would be best to remove references to OAuth2 SSO being supported in the integration documentation to avoid future instances of customers requesting to use customer OAuth2 IdPs.

Thanks,
Rob

Hi ,

Yes, we still make pretty frequent use of the direct integration guide so it would be good to make the change there as well.

Thanks!

I edited these edX for Business Help Center articles to remove references to SSO using OAuth2:

and , are you still using the PDF version of the Direct Integration Guide? If so, I'll put through changes to that document as well.
