Course end date reminder displaying conflicting information

Description

This issue was reported by ETSx. On Friday (October 27), the banner on the course outline in TOEFLx 3T2017 said "This course is ending in two weeks on November 8, 2017." The course team reported the issue to partner support as a bug, because at that time, the course ended in twelve days, but the "in two weeks" language would suggest that the course ended on November 10. They included the attached screenshot.

At this time (October 30), the reminder text in TOEFLx says "This course is ending in one week on November 8, 2017." The course end date is nine days away, but the "in one week" language suggests that the course ends on November 6.

The contradicting information about the course end date creates a confusing learner experience. Since learners are more likely to upgrade to verified closer to the end of the course, it is essential that learners know when the course ends.

Expected Behavior

  1. Verify that the course date messages use "x days" when the time is over 1 day and "x hours" when the time is less than 24 hours away.

This was implemented by Mercury team, now I guess two members from Mercury are now part of Growth team and one member in Helio, which team do you think take this ?

Looks like PR mentioned in the comments was created by Andy, but reviewed by Harry:

Also, note that added a very helpful AC that would help move this along quickly. Perhaps with this AC, it is something that could be quickly done by any team?
