Careers page text and image swaps
As discussed a few weeks ago, the design team is helping the Recruiting team update their brochure and we were hoping to swap out a few images and some text for the careers page, so that the page and brochure match and also includes only images of people who work at edX. I've listed the requested edits below, and have attached the image assets to this ticket.
Is there anything else that needed on our end?
Thank you very much!
Change text below cell phone icon to: “Discounts on Cell Phone, Gym Membership & Entertainment”
Change text below institution icon to: “Tuition Reimbursement & Professional Development”
Change text below data icon to: “Comprehensive Benefits Package”
Change text below that to: “Top Notch Healthcare, Pension & 401k and so much more.”
Change text below global icon to: “Collaborative & Diverse & Inclusive Workplace”
Delete Alasdair's name when the page loads (top left)
Remove both instances of “We would love to hear from you”
Update images for top hero, middle banner, and bottom banner. Consider diversity and inclusion in the images.
"Update Collaborative & Diverse Workplace" text to "Diverse, Equitable & Inclusive Workplace"
The new changes will not be reflected completely unless varnish cache is updated. The textual and code changes are working effectively on Prod but images will take 24 hours to reflect as they are served from varnish cache.
One can validate it on stage, https://stage.edx.org/careers
did you validate that URL to show the new data? When I click on that link it still shows the old site and we shouldn't close out a ticket until we have validated the changes live. I also checked with an incognito window to validate it wasn't my cache. Are we waiting for additional server side cache to clear? What should stakeholders expect in this case?
Sorry to keep adding changes, but while we're in there can we change one more part of the text? Under the "Discounts on Cell Phone, Gym Membership & Entertainment" section can we change the underlying underneath that to say "Your happiness and well-being is important to us."
Sanity seems a little insensitive to mental illness, after another review!
image changed are verified as accurate on acceptance. Thank you!
