iOS - Add "Explore Courses" link to the landing page

As a first time learner, I want suggestions on courses, so that I’m inspired to enroll.

Currently, over 13% of the users to the landing page drop off. In order to reduce the drop-off. Surveys on website have shown that a majority of new learners don’t know what they are looking for.

In order to reduce the friction for users to explore our catalog without having to think of keywords, we will add the “Explore all courses” link below the search bar.

User Experience

  • Explore all courses link will be added below the search bar

  • On tap, the link will take users to the courses discovery page

  • The keyword is set to blank, and the default search results are shown in the course discovery page.

Success Metrics

  • clicks on the explore all courses link

  • % drop off on the launch screen

I've added the following analytics on the click of Explore all courses button.

Please follow the same design patterns used for links elsewhere in the app. Once done, please add a screenshot for review by Eugene.

Analytics event names: if we have a standard practice for event names please follow that. Something like page name + link name. Some ideas for link name: “explore_all_courses_click”

should we follow the same design as web i.e. add an underlined text that is clickable?

We’ll also need to send a click event for analytics in this case as well. Any suggestions for the name of the event?
