There is no content visible in the edX app (iOS). I am not sure about Android. I have attached a screenshot, there is no content/video visibility.

However, the content is visible in the web browser.

After looking at the comments in the ticket linked by Khalid in the comment above, it looks like this solution here is to either

  1. reimport the courses in production

  2. have documentation in the course page that these courses are not supported in the mobile apps

1 is preferred, but I think the course team should decide the feasibility of it.

this has been a long-standing issue with some specific MIT courses that was never resolved. More details on this issue can be seen on this ticket:

p.s. the ticket has a lot of comments with lots of details and updates from people that worked on this issue, so, I’ve updated its description with the gist of the discussion and outcomes.

p.p.s. I’m not really sure if and how we can fix this issue given the heavy discussion on the aforementioned ticket. So, definitely looking for some thoughts on how we can move forward with it.

This never occurs for staff accounts, only learner accounts see this issue.

I tested a bit more: I do get the error with my personal account, but not with my cbrash-edx account. Maybe this will help diagnose the issue!

I'm on iOS 14.3 and edX 2.24.3, and can reproduce this Tried a couple of other MIT courses which loaded fine on the same device.
