Thoughts:
Swiping left on a course card presents an Unenroll "button".
Prompt the user before actually unenrolling.
On the website, you click the "gear" icon on your list of courses. We could do exactly the same thing on mobile; add a little gear icon to the corner of the course card. I would only suggest that if we are happy with the way it works on the web.
IMO, the gear should be inside the course screen; probably the upper right corner would work well for web to (on the same line as all the course tabs; just right-aligned)
If we want the same level of friction, I'd do it through that course's dashboard page, with either a settings menu or if we have just the one thing, an unenroll button at the bottom.
To keep in mind where we are headed, eventually, I'd think we want users to organize/sort/etc their own dashboards. So I agree that an unenroll action should be separated from a dashboard organization action.
Agree on the gear on the right of the nav bar as a natural spot for it
I agree we should keep this in behind the settings "gear". This is parity with the platform, which is as good a guide as any for now.
