Textarea Capa Input Type

Description

I'm interested in making a capa input type to allow a multi-line textbox problem. This problem type is presently missing from the available arsenal, unless you go to a custom jsinput, or even worse, LTI provider. I've seen a few javascript hacks that create a textarea input, but there's a variety of issues there. I think it should be pretty straightforward to create a multi-line textbox problem input for edX.

Currently, there is a way to have a multi-line text input, but it's completely based around coding. While codemirror looks nice for coding, it's terrible if you're trying to write a paragraph.

I can see two ways to implement this:
1. Insert an option into the textbox (codemirror) syntax to use a textarea but no codemirror
2. Create a new problem input type. I'm leaning this way, just to avoid having to put special cases into the codemirror code.

Regardless of the dynamics, I think that the problem type should only be accepted by a custom graded problem response type.

I welcome any thoughts on the issue.
