User Impact Summary
Well that's embarrassing!! I didn't realize it because I actually didn't add any quotes, I left everything that was there the same but Textedit must have changed it automatically. This was totally operator error and I will certainly not be using Textedit anymore. Thank you SO much for your help, everything seems to be working now!
Your policy.json file is corrupted, you added wrong quotes arround "My Page Edited”.
Hi ! Nice to see you again. Happy to provide more details.
This is the course I've been testing with: https://studio.edge.edx.org/course/course-v1:MIT+11.127x+2015
I added a page called "My Page"
I exported this zip: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bhuz7yeb4d4xixd/course.V8mC4h.tar.gz?dl=0
I edited the name of that page in the policy file, to make it "My Page Edited"
I zipped it up into this zip: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n63k4whde0ilw0i/course.tar.gz?dl=0
When I imported that one the page did not show up as a tab.
Just FYI my ultimate goal is not to edit page names (obviously I can do that in studio). What I need to do once this is working is change the Discussion tab to type "external_link", which worked great on my previous courses. I hope this is helpful, or if you notice something I'm doing wrong and can set me straight that would be great too.
for debugging purposes, it might help if you could include a link to a before and after version of the course, i.e. a tar.gz of the unedited export and then another one after you've made the change. Maybe on dropbox?
