Standards-setting question

How/when do we set standards when designing/implementing features in MFEs?

When are we vs aren’t we setting standards?

When should we on dev push back on arbitrary updates/deviations from standards?

Example: Light masquerade, dark menu, dark header, etc.

Notes:

• Setting boundaries for how/when to communicate these standards

• Gabe: discussions during scope of the project

  • If a proposed design goes against a “standard”, decision should be made intentionally as early on in the process as possible.

  • Ben: if it comes in mid-stream, should devs push back?
