FedX working group is comprised of frontend stakeholders from across edX’s engineering teams. The goals of the group are as follows:

• Share our teams' FED challenges and triumphs
• Streamline the frontend development process
• Set, plan, and achieve long term architecture goals
• Define implementation best practices for use across the organization
• Stay up to date on evolving browser features, language specifications, and web standards
• Discuss and plan to evaluate emerging technologies
• Review and prioritize routine infrastructure work
• Plan frontend training and knowledge sharing initiatives
