Take notes on implementation concerns and considerations for Navbar hamburger

• 2 distinct components, one on marketing site one on LMS/learning platform

• Tall variant?

  • Or do we actually just want a transparent background variant so the navbar can sit on top of any backgrounds, regardless of height.

    • The current Navbar component from react-bootstrap supports this today.

• Menu dropdown needs design, how is it constructed?

• Collapse behavior for ordering links

• Avatar in mobile could use more affordance for tap/click

• Collapsing concern, for variants, how do the buttons and other customizations work with colors in dark variant, for instance.

  • Another example: if a button with brand variant is on right side of header, what happens to its (custom) variants when it collapses into the hamburger menu?

  • Current NavBar implementation.

  • Supports “light” and “dark” variants, along with customizing background color (transparent + standard colors).

• Meeting time

  • Changed to 11am EDT

  • Extended to 60 minutes.

  • CMG also interested in following PWG and Front end study group revival

  • Combine fedx and study group, maybe every two weeks, office hours, doesnt always need to be presentations
