Label Colors

    • @Brian Smith has been digging into this a bit. Plans to make a new PR including the current commit and any other changes needed to get everything working with util classes etc. - will add @Edward Byun as a reviewer.

  • [Proposal] Paragon Label Colors Addition v2

  • @Kevin Blemel: question about the label colors (with 9 some are quite similar)

    • @Edward Byun wanted to have the same luminosity originally, made contrast between colors hard

    • As for how it should be used, it should be an accent as opposed to used to define something

    • Colors within palette are ordered, adjacent colors should be distinguishable

    • Definitely a lot of trade offs that happened to get to that point

    • @Brian Smith: example of adding colors to assignment types - instead of letting course authors pick any hex value this provides some guide rails

    • @Kevin Blemel: do we need this many? Would just having 6 be sufficient?
