Conversation about ecommerce deprecation evolved into a broader conversation about how the Product WG can inform/guide/support the DEPR working group.

Immediate actions:

• There is a task to review the deprecation communication process and make recommendations for adding a product view/product perspective into the workflow: https://github.com/openedx/platform-roadmap/issues/198

• There is a task to create a template for adding product language/product impact to current deprecation tickets: https://github.com/openedx/platform-roadmap/issues/197

Long-term:

• After the Core Product Offering is defined, we can explore ways to better align the deprecation working group and the product working group.
