Badging in Dogwood
@Ned Batchelder (Deactivated) how feasible is it that we would have badging available in Dogwood (cut from a late October release)?

@Xavier Antoviaquethis is further development of Open Badges. In particular, there is an XBlock created by IBLStudios. It isn't ready yet, we need to fix it up before it is battle-ready: https://github.com/iblstudios/IBLOpenBadges-xBlock
@Ned Batchelder (Deactivated) Nice! I like the principle of adding an XBlock to a graded section to define a badge reward, pretty neat.
There will be some work to reconcile this with what's currently in the platform though - for example they don't use the same Badging server.
I'll be happily following the progress – don't hesitate to ask questions or pull me in discussions along the way.

Yes, definitely, but AFAIK this project hasn't really even started so it may not even be a concern.
@Sarina Canelake (Unlicensed) Is this related to Open Badges? Are there some new developments on top of the initial MVP we merged last month coming up? If so, I'm curious about it : )
