@Jenna MakowskiDo you think it would make sense to add a standard agenda item in which we run through the backlog of PR’s awaiting product review? I know there are some PR’s that have been awaiting product review for some time now.

Thanks @Ali Hugo! From my perspective it would be helpful to revisit the conversation about how to get OSPRs through product review.

Running through the backlog of PRs awaiting product review as part of Core Product WG meetings would certainly be a step in the right direction.

Ultimately, I’d imagine we’d want to arrive at a process that doesn’t rely on meetings and/or other types of sync communication, and integrates well with the async process for OSPR management that @Michelle Philbrick and I are following.

@Jenna Makowski Perhaps there is something that Michelle and I could take off your plate (such as the initial flagging of PRs for product review) that would help speed up the existing process that we defined a while back?

Hi all - thanks for starting this thread. It’s the intent going forward to spend the first 10 mins of this meeting reviewing this new board. We have two types of reviews that we are doing now, the OSPRs that already have code written, and new proposals that are getting reviewed and approved before any development work is done. The eventual goal is to get to a point where all the reviews are done on proposals in the latter type, but agree we need to get the backlog cleared.
