The Biz Dev Working Group serves to bridge the Open edX community and the global market, aligning platform development with market needs, expanding adoption, and identifying & creating sustainable revenue streams. Our focus is on market expansion, product development, and building strategic partnerships to ensure the platform's long-term success.

Stellenbosch Workshop: The workshop held in Stellenbosch was the initial action point, gathering feedback from various contributors and external attendees on Open edX roadmap.

SWOT Analysis: Information was gathered through a SWOT analysis, aiming to understand the product's vision, market trends and future expectations.

  • Optimization Gaps: The importance of optimizing the relationship between Github contributors, technical teams, and the broader community was highlighted.
