Restore the Markdown editor for text and problem editing, in order to support high-volume course authoring.

Overview: Support high-volume course authoring by allowing copy and paste of complex text, questions, problems, etc. from other collaborative tools into Studio.

Problem: The new problem editor narrows the instructional design possibilities and multiplies the time required for data entry. A process that used to require one paste and some text editing now requires at least 5 copy and pastes into individual fields.

Use Case: As course author I need to be able to paste questions, answers and hints from other tools (for example, Google Docs or Word) and quickly edit them to conform to Studio’s requirements in order to finish authoring complex courses in a reasonable amount of time. While the advanced OLX editor allows for this as well, it is much more complicated to learn and use, and more sensitive to errors.

Discovery approach: Can the legacy markdown interface be restored? It’s not clear why it was removed and replaced.
