  • Request to review Annie's Market Research (Go-To-Market strategy) - @annabel.cellini will most likely present on 16.04.2025 (Bizdev)

    • Request: Please review the findings in the deck and share your thoughts on the research results (via slack channel).

  • Alignment and Updates with Member Success and Revenue Growth

Key Topics Discussed

@Vineet Manuja 's proposal Proposal: Open edX "Distinguished Contributor Program" presented briefly and in details.

Feedback and Discussion on the Contributor Proposal

  • @Angie Ruíz - Core Contributor status should be a minimum requirement for nomination.

  • @Natalia Vynogradenko - Appreciated that the program would help guide new contributors by identifying paths and key activities and mentioned prior ideas around an Ambassador program with similar tracks.

  • @Mahnoor Sarwat - Asked about execution and measurement of impact-related OKRs (e.g., how to measure 1% community growth).

    • @Vineet Manuja: These are initial ideas and not rigid metrics. Program execution needs community input and refinement.

  • Heisel Antolinez - Suggested introducing a “Women Distinguished Contributor” category.

    • Emphasized the importance of female role models in tech.

    • Proposed public recognition during the Paris conference.

  • @Vineet Manuja & team responded positively, encouraging community discussion and proposal submission.

Next Steps

All Group Members: Provide feedback and comments on the Distinguished Contributor proposal
