• We already presented in March so have opportunities to change format

Github process & progress tracking

• FYI for this - @Edward Byun exploring ways to improve process and organization for github tracking

SCORM XBlock Testing

Some progress on testing for this, but some open issues with this to discuss.

Looks like the block works but layout and sizing causes issues rendering all scorm blocks

We should consider a mode to preview blocks in an embedded webview (might help blocks like SCORM and others) - RG has also done this “render SCORM Block as embedded / full screen view”.

Could also look into improvements to the XBlock configuration in Studio to improve support for these in mobile rendering.

Could a SCORM to OLX transformer be built and would it work easily enough? Could most scorm content be transformed into HTML embedded views to make it more like a Text / HTML Block.

Potentially track SCORM block testing in a misc ticket in Q2 epic for bugs / misc.

Offline download improvements

• Mobile design - Tuesday meeting to share out progress

• A number of performance and development bugs are coming up in edX / 2U testing of the offline mode improvements

• Next step: technical review / exploration of offline mode improvements work

• Is there still a remaining edx-platform PR that needs to be merged?

  • NOTE Today is the Teak cut day !!

  • This isn’t ready, and ADR feedback means this won’t be in Teak and needs additional development to be considered production ready

• This work is in development and making progress
