Sumac.3 release status: Sumac.3 has been tagged. Some GitHub API throttling issues affected the branch renaming process. Farhaan and Adolfo attempted it and will retry soon (after teak cut).
Plan and prepare for next testathon (May 27)
Product priorities to new issues: mostly all of the reported issues have been prioritized
Debugging team coordination: 4 Teak reports need triaging, 3 of them are high priority
New milestones (e.g., "Maintenance Teak.1") were created for easier navigation. “Help Wanted” labels were added to encourage community contributions.
Progress: Testing is ~80% complete. A new testathon is scheduled for May 27 (10:00–11:30 EDT).
Suggestions Sheet:
Community members are actively contributing.
Antonella is looking into whether new tabs can be restricted and whether filters can be locked to prevent view disruptions.
Known Issue: In-context metrics disappear when the sandbox is wiped. The root cause is a missing step in the reset process. Documentation for this is needed.
🚨 Release Blockers
Currently three known release blockers:
Two related to Forum (no new updates; Maria will follow up with relevant teams).
One related to new units/components (PR exists, but unclear if tested/deployed in sandbox; Maria to investigate).
📄 Release Documentation
Major blockers around flag/setting generation were resolved with help from Sarina.
Maria will check in with Chris to confirm if he needs support.
🌱 Community Engagement
The Western Governors University team (approx. 6–10 members) is getting involved in bug triaging and working on issues.
Help Wanted labels are visible, and Maria will consider posting a list of high-priority issues to Discuss or Slack.
