Live Q&A – Chat Questions & Answers
Participant | Question | Answer |
|---|---|---|
@Jenna Makowski | Is Vorkis open source? | ❌ No. It's free to use, but it is not open source. |
@Natalia Vynogradenko | Why doesn’t vorkis.com open in Spain? | Issue was due to a typo or DNS; resolved during the meeting. |
@Ghassan Maslamani | Is this tool tied only to edX and not Open edX? | ✅ It’s built to integrate with Open edX but pulls catalog data from edX , Coursera, Udemy, and others. |
@Ghassan Maslamani | So can learners access courses directly? | ✅ Yes, users are redirected to third-party platforms to enroll (paid/free). Vorkis provides data; it doesn't host courses. |
