[Discovery] Migrate and Add Relevant Content to Documentation

[Discovery] Migrate and Add Relevant Content to Documentation

In progress

Following the initial navigation changes to the Open edX Docs, the next phase is to:

  1. Migrate Confluence Core Contributor content to the Docs site (see How to migrate docs from Confluence to docs.openedx.org )

  2. Audit content across Docs, and Confluence to remove any further duplication.

Scope of Work

  • Compare Confluence and Docs content.

  • Confirm which Confluence content must move into Docs.

  • Review content gaps, e.g:

  • Create Github issues for each migration task. Add them to the Handbook GitHub project board (from the ticket itself, use the Projects gear icon to select the correct project):

  • Create Github issues for new content.

  • Migrate and update content in Docs (formatting, links, and clarity).

  • Add related PRs for updates.

  • Archive corresponding Confluence pages.

Next Steps

  • Create GitHub issues for each migration task on this board.

  • Track progress on the Github project board at the Documentors WG.
