Summary
We discussed two main topics in our meeting today:
Managing Feature Ideas and Fast-Track Changes: We talked about the sometimes unclear difference between "future ideas" (on Discuss) and "fast-track changes" (on GitHub) in product proposals. We decided that if we're not sure, it's best to post feature ideas on Discuss for more visibility and discussion. We also noted that since there aren't many proposals right now, this distinction isn't a huge problem, but it's something to keep in mind for the product managers group.
Creating a Learner Motivation/Engagement Subgroup: We proposed forming a new subgroup under the "product working group." This group would focus on motivation, engagement, and gamification features for the platform. It would make our current meetings with the "Schema" and "Raccoon Gang" teams public, inviting others to help define the scope. We plan to create a Confluence page and inform the product working group chair about this new subgroup.
