3. Publishing the Release Portal Announcement

  1. Log into https://partners.edx.org/announcements and find one of the portal announcements for previous releases. Open it and select Clone content.
  2. Alter the date and remove "clone of" from the heading.
  3. Update the announcement content.
  4. At the bottom of the screen, select Publishing options > Draft. Do not select any other publishing options. Save the changes.
  5. Get review input. Make changes as needed.
  6. In the Domain access options, select  
  7. Select Publishing options. In the publishing options section, select Published, Promoted to front page, and Send subscriptions notifications. Deselect Draft. Save the changes.
