Isomorphic React
- Static site generation not looking very good currently
- Need to stand up a node server
- Interested parties??
- Devops will be involved to some degree
- Marketing homepage first high-value page!
Distributing Code Reviews
- Ari is a review bottleneck. How do we solve this?
- Teams should be responsible for their own code reviews
- Send out educational materials on how to learn React (etc)
- Talk to team leads about getting people to learn stuff
State of Hiring
- Are we equipped to take in extremely junior level FED candidates?
- No
- Full stack vs. FED
- Dennis solution: simple coderpad during phone screen
- 5 mins, can you write a line of code?
- Ask someone to reverse a string
- This is a good quick low pass for phone interviews
- Codepen vs. coderpad???
- Current hiring repo is pretty out of date, might not be best place for frontend interview stuff anyway
