Coursera - Randomized Content

Coursera has a question bank feature, allowing questions to be tagged with categories and difficulty ratings to enable them to be reused. There is also the ability to share assessments across courses, allowing learners to skip retaking an assessment that they have already passed in another course.

Coursera users mention being able to use XML to create randomized quizzes. It seems likely that Coursera has something similar to OLX enabling this.

It is unclear what other capabilities Coursera has around randomization. It has Item Linking capabilities, allowing content to be used across courses, but whether that content can be randomly selected is unclear. It seems unlikely, unless the XML method works outside of quizzes (unknown).
