Organization: SilverTech - Eidos
Role: Academic Coordinator
Organization Size: Small to Medium
Key Insights
Main Pain Points:
Grade Approval Process: Professors face difficulties approving grades, which often results in Monserrat manually approving grades. This process could be more efficient, especially for large groups of students.
Staff Role Limitations: The current staff role grants too much access, such as the ability to modify course content, raising concerns about preserving the integrity of course materials.
Feature Requests:
Bulk Role Assignment: Monserrat suggested the need for bulk role assignments, similar to how students are assigned to courses, which would simplify the process for large groups.
Limited Role for Volunteers: A new role for volunteers who need access to courses but should not have the ability to modify content or grades.
Ease of Use:
Grade Approval Process: The grade approval process is unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming due to the required use of incognito mode, as for some reason the caché was interfering with the action.
Platform Usability: Monserrat found the platform user-friendly, but the role assignment process, which requires assigning roles individually, could be simplified. She wanted the ability to give roles in bulk since each time a new course was created she had to repeat the same process for the same staff.
Support Needs:
Support from Aulasneo: Monserrat relied on the support provided by Aulasneo’s team but did not identify a need for additional training.
