Trying to nail down some issues to unblock development.

  • Which Course Run should a Pathway show to the student if multiple runs would fulfill the same Pathway Item.

    • Conclusion: This is an author responsibility to explicitly set. We do not want to make complicated heuristics or push the burden of this onto the student.

  • Enrollments

    • Cassie: Unenrolling from a course in the Pathway is unintuitive.

    • Change in Direction: Pathway Item points to a Course Run, but this Course Run changes over time. We also need history of all acceptable past runs

  • We’re not sure what is the current state of the frontend translation is for the catalog, which we should know for the purposes of displaying the Catalog Pathway Category correctly.

  • Cassie: We need to schedule a bi-weekly sync-up.

Catalog and Content separation of Pathways, along with rationale.
Boundaries between Pathway, Pathway Item.
How we want to map items and fulfillment of those items, e.g. modeling "pass one of these courses" against a Pathway Item.
@Navin Karkera: Can you please check into the state of translations on the catalog frontend, w.r.t. what we should be doing about the Catalog Pathway Category text (e.g. “Master’s Degree”)?
@Cassie Zamparini and @Jenna Makowski to determine how we want to handle the display of course run enrollments in the student dashboard, when the student later enrolls in a pathway that has that course run. (Currently in [Willow] Pathways Decision Log )
