How We Estimate
To point tasks, the team uses a Fibonacci sequence which maps roughly to the amount of time a task will take (which maps roughly to the complexity of the task). The pointing scale is as follows:

1 | 1 hour (well-defined, short task) |
2 | 4 hours |
3 | 1 day |
5 | 2.5 days |
8 | 5 days |
13 | 2 weeks |
