Q: What about XBlocks?

XBlocks developed within edX are subject to the flow described at the start of this page. 

XBlocks contributed by other development teams are assessed by a product manager and a level of support (full, conditional, or no edX support) is determined. If necessary, XBlocks that are identified as having full support can be released without documentation (and with conditional support only) until documentation is complete. This might occur if team priorities require a different release schedule for the software and the documentation.Audience: Developers

Mark Hoeber created the XBlock Tutorial in 2015. It has not been regularly maintained.

Per Google Analytics, the home page for the Open edX XBlock Tutorial gets roughly 35 visits per week.

Xavier Antoviaque of Open Craft has a separate XBlock tutorial, and some reports have said that the Open Craft tutorial is more complete.
