What are Aspects Reports?
Aspects Reports provide access to near real-time course and instance data through dashboards and interactive charts.
The aim of this initial Aspects release is to equip With Aspects, course delivery teams with have ready access to vital learner enrollment, engagement, and performance data for each of their courses as well as insight into course content performance all within the Open edX LMS.
In addition to providing data about all learners in a given course, Aspects Reports surface course activity data for individual learners and learners that may be at-risk of not completing the course based on a set of predefined risk factors. When installing the plugin, site operators are able to choose whether or not to display limited PII to course delivery teams. Enabling PII for your Open edX instance will give course authors and teams access to the names, usernames, and email addresses of the learners appearing in the individual and at-risk learner dashboards for identification or intervention.
