Fullscreen Modal design proposal

• More opinionated about button position. when there is not overflowing content, move the button closer to the content

• more guideline around when to or not to use the full screen

• don't be too opinionated about what’s in the footer row

• look at the courseware use case, LTI xblock, displays a fullscreen modal

• Should browser back be disabled to close the blocking sheet?

• Mobile guidelines to include:

  • top and bottom variants should cover less than 50% of the screen. If you need more real-estate, use a different modal

  • left and right sheets should be less than 272px width

• A11y Jeff Witt (Deactivated) :

  • dark mode: AAA level feature, but if we want a dark mode in general, the effort should be concerted and implemented as a distinct project with owners. Doing dark mode one component at a time is not ideal

• Possible “dismiss” button variant when the use case arises
