Peter Pinch

  • Reviewed unassigned tests

  • Remaining tests in progress or blocked - Peter is following up on these

  • Questions for post-Redwood discussion:

    • Should we have a persistent server running the current release, so that we can test upgrading to successive point releases/major releases? That way we could also amass data rather than having to generate it

    • Should we have additional named positions per release, particularly “Release Tutor Maintainer” and “Release Product Manager”?

Everyone needs to finish up their tests!

Review of release blockers: see board:

Majo

Determined to not be a regression. Not blocking Redwood but need to fix by Sumac.

Broader discussion regarding whether or not MFEs do i18n/l10n the same. Appears that Account MFE may not be pulling in all translated languages properly - are other MFEs also missing languages?

  • Adolfo Brandes or Brian Smith or Sarina Canelake figure out a plan to look more holistically at the MFE translations story, and figure out the best path to resolving #1052
  • Jorge Londoño How could we involve the translations WG in upcoming releases so that the default drop-down language choices in the Account MFE are languages that are near to 100% translated? (Brian Smith - is there anything wonky here related to how we can’t pull down only “reviewed” translations?)

Board clarification

The Release Testing view shows what bugs need to be fixed.

The Test Failures Report view shows what tests have failed during testing

Bug fixers should look at the Release Testing view when finding bugs to solve
