Introduction

Installing, Configuring, and Running the Open edX Platform is a guide for system administrators who want to set up and run an instance of the Open edX platform. The guide contains step-by-step instructions for initial setup, as well as information about different ways to configure the platform (including setting up Insights).

There is occasionally some overlap between this guide and the EdX Developer's Guide. It can be difficult to differentiate which content goes in which guide.

Note Feedback from users has indicated significant gaps in the information in this guide.
