General Summary

In general, Open edX has a lot more functionality around question configuration than most platforms, because most platforms have a more robust assessment container, such as a quiz or activity. Their grading objects are more transparently defined, and their user experience of authoring is generally better, but far less flexible. If we can capture that flexibility while still providing a simple user experience, then we can win with educators who are willing to experiment, while still providing a good, opinionated experience to the out-of-the-box authors.
