This needs to be completed before previous versions of Google Analytics stop collecting events on July 1, 2023. The goal is to have the pre-release code updated by May and the backport to Olive done by mid-June.

This project covers:

• Adding a new LMS-configured Google Analytics identifier

• Adding the new Google Analytics 4 Javascript snippet

• Integrating the configured Javascript snippets into edx-platform and several MFEs

• Backporting changes to Olive

• Project documentation
