V1 Libraries deprecation timeline
There are implications here for edge.edx.org and Open edX. I want to make sure that we get any necessary balls in motion with enough lead time for us to deprecate when we want to.
Manual export/import of V1 libs will be available
Putting Blockstore in Studio would remove blockstore-as-as-service dependency
but, we’d have to enable the blockstore app in Edge as well
Modernizing Edge will require data migration w/ organizations
Deprecate “non-organizations”, or remove BD-14 dependency on organizations?
Non-organizations is chaos; let’s not move back that direction
Guess: mid-2021 for v1 libraries deprecation
❗ Kyle McCormick (Deactivated) depr process for lack of edx-organizations
