Modal

• We decided to not include a version of the modal that scrolls the whole page (as opposed to modal content)

• Marketing dialog is a modal variant. @Gabriel Weinberg will decide alignment

• Alert dialog (modal variant) - affirmative & exit action, no exit button

• Fullscreen with stepper → needs it’s own proposal

Menu

• Use case is LMS navigation

• Some work left to do

• It’s a menu rather than a list of links

  • JW: Menu uses arrow, list uses tab key

• Is this a variant on select menus?

  • BW: Yes

  • AB: Kind of a custom select

• What do we name it?

  • MenuButton? ButtonMenu? SelectMenu? NavMenuSelect? SelectMenuButton?

• BW: should we have an option to highlight the selected thing, and have it be a MenuButton with options?

• DJ: Originally for navigating courseware and picking units. Currently we have something similar to a menu button

• BW: Would one option be configuration on how buttons themselves are styled (underlined links, black links, white button)

  • GW: unsure at this point, but consistency would be good

• Who will work on this (LB)

  • TNL will build it
