The Product Working Group drives and coordinates centralized product leadership and decision-making. The Group owns and manages the high-level product vision for Open edX. It defines and manages the Core Product Offering, and prioritizes and reviews product-level initiatives across the ecosystem.
The Product Working Group is comprised of the following subgroups. Each subgroup owns the roadmap for their area of the platform and holds their own bi-monthly meeting.
Additionally, the leaders of each subgroup meet once per month for a product “scrum of scrums”.

Product “Scrum of Scrums”
Leaders of each subgroup meet monthly for coordination and read outs.
All features related to the Core Product Offering, including Studio, Libraries and LMS. This group owns the Core Product Strategy and the decision process for what is included in the Core. This group also includes the Product Narrative workstream.
All features that support community-building in the learning experience, including ORAs, discussion forums, and future features yet to be defined. Will require dedicated discovery effort and forums are a big feature in and of themselves.
UX/UI will cut across all subgroups, so the need here is more around providing guidance and reviewing projects that require UX/UI input. There should be close collaboration between the UX/UI group and the Core Product group.
