• Floating form labels valid context evolution

  • Floating labels not compatible with browser’s autocomplete.

  • browser’s autocomplete is required by WCAG 2.1

  • proposal: floating labels to be used only when needed.

  • Proposing to created a Forms best practices spec

• Disabled control valid context evolution

  • WCAG says you can have button disabled until certain criteria is met.

    • May not be the best.

    • Similar issue to Stepper steps (preventing next step until valid input).

  • Might be better to mark errors on submit rather than preventing submit altogether.

  • Might be some updates to Paragon form components necessary.

• Placement of messages (hint/error text)

  • May be P3 issues logged once standards are defined.
