• Small card feature add (default image)

• Card functionality:

  • same functionality in explore catalog for the card component

  • dark card

• Is this including the default image in paragon itself (i.e., paragon owns the image file) or is this adding a prop to include an image url/file as a fallback if the previously given url/file doesn’t load?

  • Let’s keep the image file/url up to the consumer.

  • But look into adding a fallbackImg

• Will be added to Paragon Figma library later (github issue?)

• We will want to make Dropdown.Item to use MenuItem under-the-hood.

  • Needs confirmation, but this shouldn’t really change functionality for consumers (they’d still use Dropdown.Item).

  • Github issue?

• separately for tokens, maybe we want abstractions like background dark, etc.

• What about Dropdown.Divider and Dropdown.Header?

  • No problem! We’ll add those as well.

Design Tokens

• What is the basis of the design tokens? Figma? variables.scss?

• Utilities more complex than variables.

• Would tokens have a layer of mode/toggle, like dark mode?

• Deciding source of truth could be case by case based on the token/component

  • We plan to document some of the design tokens with these open questions, and discuss in the #paragon-working-group Slack channel.
