Key Discussion Points

  1. Review of Release Blockers

    • React 18 Upgrade: Remains a blocker.

    • MIT Upgrade to Form V2: Only one issue remains open (related to get_or_create).

  2. Maintainers' Responsibilities in Release Process

    • The topic was raised in the Maintainers Working Group, but no update yet. @Maria Grimaldi to follow up with Adolfo.

    • There is a need to clarify and document explicit responsibilities.

  3. Release Notes Process

    • Concerns raised about code annotation tooling.

    • Discussion on using conventional commits for release notes. @Chris Patti to follow up with Peter.

  4. Follow-ups from the Sumac Retrospective

    • Open issues have been created in the working group board.

    • Still pending: find assignees. @Maria Grimaldi to figure out who can help.

  5. Teak Release Roles Confirmation

    • A post was made to confirm existing roles.

    • The Release Testing Coordinator role is currently unfilled. @Maria Grimaldi to confirm with Andres.

  6. Teak Release Preparation

    • Testing environment setup needs to be confirmed before the cut in April. @Maria Grimaldi to follow up with Syed.

  7. Potential Product Blocker – Library Work

    • Currently yellow, meaning it may become a blocker.

    • It will be tracked via an associated epic.

  8. Community Release Meetings

    • These will continue weekly to monitor potential blockers.
