Improvements to review process:

  • updating specs faster in real time

  • timeframes for review

  • additional iterative feedback loops - usability testing

  • balancing proposed solutions vs collaborative problem-solving

  • create better communal spaces for collecting use cases for future iterations

  • learnings from OEPs? ADRs? and other community processes - assigning an owner

    • lighter weight

  • regular touchpoint during working group meetings to alert group to any new proposals

  • louder communication channels to alert stakeholders about proposal

  • process for managing escalating scope

  • template should include - alternatives considered, how to gain user feedback, specific asks for feedback from the author

  • different “flavors” of templates based on side, effort, nature of the proposal
