• MySQL 8 migration is starting

  • has had some impacts on devstack

  • notes:

    • tutor is all mysql8 by default, Palm assumes mysql8

    • devstack is 5.7 by default

    • if on 5.7 on a production instance, folks should get it changed by EOY. Worth a discourse post?

      • Ask BTR

      • 5.7 EOL is 2023-10-21
